I’m out here serving you ninja-style hair removal - but really our collective health and safety is my goal. With case numbers growing in Manitoba, and the constant stream of out of town (and province) visitors, I’ve decided to tighten up my mask wearing rules, as the building I operate out of is also a home to some of our 55+ community. You will be required to wear a mask during the entirety of your visit, if this is an issue/health concern please contact me and we can furt...her discuss! Disposable masks will be available for $2, if you are needing one please notify me before your visit. I have also made the decision to unfortunately decline service to any one visiting from out of province (this has not come up yet as an issue but I wanted to update my policy to reflect this for the future.) Thank you all for your support and understanding as we navigate through these uncertain times! Being safe is better than being so very sorry! Happy Monday everyone! I promoted Mondays to being my self-care day, so inspired by @thelippylemon I did a little DIY lip scrub with items I had in my kitchen! Here’s the recipe I used:... 3 tsp brown sugar 2 tsp honey 2 tsp coconut oil 1 drop orange essential oil orange 2 drops vanilla extract && That’s it! I combined the honey and coconut oil in a microwave safe dish, and heated it for 10 seconds, then added the sugar and flavour and mixed it together. I then transferred the mix into a sealable container and allowed it to cool. Now I have a delicious lip scrub that will last 1-2 weeks, if I don’t use it all by then! You can experiment with any flavour you would like, peppermint is another great option. With a heavy heart I have decided to halt all appointments for sugaring at this time. Over the weekend I will be contacting those with appointments. Some of your questions may be answered in the following post; What if I want to cancel/reschedule my appointment: I will be waving all cancellation fees for appointments, I do ask that you cancel as soon as possible or at least the day of or a few hours before. ... Please do not no-show to your appointments, it’s totally unnecessary, as you should not be worried about cancelling your appointment. Risk/Concerns for health: My space has and always will be up to health code standards I take great pride in ensuring a clean work environment for everyone so nothing has changed in regards to that because it’s always been up to protocols & health standards! In addition to that I have asked and will continue to ask anyone who is not feeling well and has travelled in the last 14 days, to reschedule for a later date. I am also limiting my social interactions, to my appointments and my family, to ensure the least amount of interactions possible in my effort to continue social distancing. Are you still open/taking appointments?: I will be still taking appointments for the weeks to come, so do not hesitate to book, supporting small businesses right now is greatly appreciated as this may become my only source of income while this crisis is going on.
