Happiness is Sweet

This cake has become one of my top selling flavours recently, even surpassing my chocolate salted caramel pecan cake! The warm fall spices mixed into the sponge cake make me feel all cozy, and the pistachio pralines add a buttery and nutty taste/texture. The hint of caramel and white chocolate add sweetness to the spiciness and brings everything together in to one perfectly balanced and delicious bite

I find out if my little family is growing by 4 paws tomorrow and I'm sitting here obsessively looking at dessert photos trying to find a corresponding dessert that could also be a name. Pecan? Cookie? Skor? All totes approps in this sitch.

PIE SEASON HAS ARRIVED! Well, sort of. I've been up north on my "honeymoon" and the great outdoors have been giving me Oct 31st vibes (it's beensocold), so I've been under a blanket and dreaming about pie for a week and a half instead of frolicking around France eating copious amounts of carbs (I've definitely still been doing that 2nd thing though). I'll be taking orders right up until October 9th for Thanksgiving, and then will resume on Oct 12th until my Winter/Hol...iday menu comes out! All of my regular menu items will still be available during this time, and I will still be taking orders for custom cakes and desserts.

I blinked and September arrived. I'm slowly working on my Autumn Menu and will be offering pies, tarts and more! Happy happy happy Saturday! This week was a rough one and now that I'm officially two weeks away from my own "I Do", I amfreakingout!
