IMPORTANT NOTICE To our Beloved Families and Friends, It is with heavy hearts that we announce that after 8 years in business, Sweetpeas Childcare Inc. will close its doors to regulated and subsidized child care.... This has been an almost insurmountable decision. We love what we do, and we love our families and children. However, we find that we are left with little choice. The increase in minimum wage combined with the staffing demands of regulated childcare leave us in a position that makes it nearly impossible to operate successfully. Ironically, we are busy. We are well supported by our communities, and have wonderful relationships with our children and families. We have appreciated the support of all of you. We have left this decision as long as we dare, and apologize for the uncertainty that this will bring. If you would like to have childcare options presented to you, or if you would like additional information connected to our difficult decision, I welcome your dialogue. We have chosen to let our provincial license lapse naturally, declining to apply for a renewal. Sweetpeas will continue to operate until close of business, on Friday, November 3, 2017, at which time we will ugly-cry bucket loads of tears. With much love, Dianne, Eric, and Emily

We're BAAAAACK!!! Actually, we've been back for a week now, but it's been busy! We have missed all our sweet kids and families, and are looking forward to a banner year ahead. Preschool, Daycare, and School Age Care are taking registrations, and we have some exciting new things to watch for coming soon! Enjoy your last few weeks of summer. :)

Beloved families: please remember our notice posted at the sign-ins since May: Closed July 27 - August 7 We are closed on this coming Thursday, July 27, for just over a week, through the August civic holiday, and open again on Tuesday, August 8, 2017. ... We will miss you, and look forward to seeing you again!

We had such a GREAT time in Preschool today! I couldn't have ordered a more loveable bunch. :) Some of us are SO excited about our backpacks that we wore them the whole time. Lol! And there's nothing wrong with that. :D
