An early 19thC lady's cap. We've made a few of them. What I want to point out is the little detail in the second photo, the bit of twill tape holding the crown closer to the brim. This bit of engineering is important to get the look of the cap correct...its not just about having enough hair. Cap is in the collection of the O'Dell museum, Annapolis Royal NS
