Well, that was short lived. After reopening, rescheduling all of our cancelled clientele and opening our business after many changes, it is with much consideration and somewhat heavy hearts that Swept Away decides to close again as preventive measures. During these uncertain times, we feel that it is our responsibility to protect our clientele, staff and all of their families.... With the recent outbreaks, we plan to do our due diligence. While working we have followed all protocols and precautions. Our concern is, that although we have a consistent clientele and our circles are small, if one person unknowingly comes in and tests positive for covid-19, our shop must close for 2 weeks anyways. Along with contacting all of our clientele, staff and anyone who they have been in contact with after their visit. This is an astounding amount of people to contact and put under quarantine whether tested positive or negative. At this time, we must make the decision and follow the belief that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. And so begins the process! We have been given approval to start providing select services under strict guidelines as of this Friday, June 12th. We are not able to provide any service that tends to the facial area. This includes facials, eyelash lift and extensions, facial waxing/tinting, etc. Please be patient with us as we adapt and prepare for these new standards for care.
