City Council voted today to provide free transit for kids 11 and under beginning January 1st! I want to thank first and foremost the Parents of Winnipeg Faceboo...k group, whose members were the first to endorse this idea back in 2018. Families who want to and need to use transit to go about their lives are the big winners of this vote today. All that’s left is to make sure this is re-adopted into the 2021 City of Winnipeg Budget. It’s been quite a journey to get here, almost done!
