Today’s challenge is decluttering our clothes closet! I’m super excited for this challenge because I love decluttering clothes! I love donating my gently used clothing when I have no need for them anymore and I know someone else could use them. We know this task can be daunting, but breaking it down into smaller steps can lighten the load. Turn on some music, grab a hot tea, take some time to go through your closet, organize and get rid of some things. ... Here are some simple steps to help you get your closet organized: pull everything out sort it in piles - keep, try on, donate, and seasonal Keep - Does it fit? Have you worn it in the last 12 months? Is it in good, clean condition? Do you enjoy wearing it? Try On - try on all undecided clothing. Keep anything that fits and you still enjoy. Donate the rest. Donate - once you’ve finished your task of going through your clothes we recommend donating them as soon as you can. Seasonal - Store your seasonal items away until the right season in storage bins, under bed boxes, garment racks or spare closets. Feel free to share your before and after pics with us. Today’s challenge is to declutter your junk drawer. Many of us have this drawer in the kitchen, but tackle yours wherever it may be in your home. In addition, if you’ve got more than one drawer do each one separately, but get rid of the clutter in each one, and perhaps you may even be able to consolidate them a bit. Depending on the number of junk drawers you’ve got, and how cluttered and messy they are the task may take you more than 15 minutes. But if so, do it in 15 minu...te chunks and you’ll get it done! Wow!! What a fun filled week for us! Our clients are absolutely amazing to work with. We share our vision with them and they let us run with it.
