We are a week away from the day when 25 young men start arriving in Regina on route to Swift Current to play baseball for the 57's and represent our community this summer. We are still critically short of beds and need our community to step up and help us find these student athletes a home for the summer. We need your help now.

2022 Season Tickets Now Available. Swift Current 57’s Baseball Club is delighted to release our 2022 season ticket campaign and pricing structure. ... The past two years have been like no other and we’ve all faced enormous challenges to stay relevant. But regardless of those difficult times, and the challenges ahead, there is one constant that has remained loyal throughout, and that is the 57’s baseball community. With the expectation that full capacity crowds without restrictions will be returning this season, our season ticket holders will be guaranteed their seat. Coming out of the two-year leave of absence, the Board of Directors have made the move to traditional game day season tickets, thus moving away from vouchers. There is still great value to the season ticket pack as included with your tickets will include concession & merchandise coupons, two bring a buddy voucher as well as a chance to win a team jersey and your season ticket for 2023. Additionally, every Monday game will present an opportunity to use unused tickets to bring some friends as Rain Check games. I feel really good about how we have transitioned from vouchers to season tickets, stated club president Brad Woods. We have taken a step forward by moving to game day tickets while continuing to give some flexibility and extra value with our Rain Check nights. Overall I think people will be happy with the value that they are receiving when purchasing a season ticket, stated Woods. Opening Day is scheduled for Sunday May 29th at 2:05 pm when the Swift 57’s host the Regina Red Sox at Mitchell Field. The early bird window for season tickets is Saturday, April 30th. Supporters who renew before that date can take advantage of discounted prices on their season tickets of 25% off game day purchase. NEW COACH & GM ANNOUNCEMENT: Swift Current, SK The Swift Current 57’s Baseball Organization’s is excited to announce Jonas Lovin as the new Head Coach and General Manager of the Ball Club effective immediately. Lovin replaces Joe Carnahan who informed 57’s President Brad Woods that he will not be continuing as head coach and general manager last month. Lovin is in his second season as an assistant coach for Ryan Dupics's Concordia University baseball program. While at Conc...ordia, Lovin has spent much of his time working with both pitchers and catchers. Lovin is a graduate of Augustana University (S.D.) and completed his Master's degree through the University of Nebraska-Omaha. "We are very excited to have Jonas as part of the Swift Current 57's organization, stated Director of Baseball Operations, Harv Martinez. He comes to us very highly recommended within the baseball community. He knows about the winning tradition of 57's baseball and has a good understanding of the league, the community, and the commitment required to be a coach at the college level. Lovin moved to a coaching role following a successful collegiate baseball career. As a redshirt junior at Augustana, Lovin pitched for one of the top pitching staffs in Division II baseball and capped off the year by winning the 2018 NCAA Division II National Championship. Lovin went on to pursue his Master's degree and compete for the University of Nebraska-Omaha the following season. Jonas and his wife Ali live in York, Nebraska. Ali teaches at York Middle School and is an assistant coach on the York High School volleyball team We are very much looking forward to introducing Jonas and Ali to Swift Current and having him bring his passion and knowledge for baseball to our city, contributed 57’s President Brad Woods. He has experience coaching at the collegiate level and has coached summer baseball in the Northwoods League as well. He checks all the boxes as to what we were looking forward to moving forward." The 57’s are taking their store online this holiday season! The online store is located at garagesale.swift57s.ca. Garage Sale pricing is very COVID-19 friendly but quantities are limited as we are clearing out all our clothing inventory. Online orders will be filled first come first served and all payments will be by e-transfer or cash at time of curbside pick up at Mitchell Field.

The Annual General Meeting of the Swift Current 57s is to be held November 24th at 7pm. This will be a virtual meeting held online. Our family feels blessed to have had the opportunity to host a few members of the 57’s team over the last few years. Not only have we grown to love the guys that have stayed with us but we’ve also grown to love being a part of the 57’s community. Having that connection to the team has encouraged us to get out to more games and get to know the community of people behind making the organization a success. The guys we have hosted have always shown the utmost respect to our fam...ily and home. They’ve been helpful around the house and yard and spent hours playing with our kids. They have been, and I’m sure will continue to be, really great role models for our young sons. We look forward to creating more memories with them that will last a lifetime.
