Dear Athletes, Guests, Friends, and Family Thank you for being patient. The Mel Zajac Team is discussing what is happening in Vancouver and around the world seriously. We are closely monitoring the developments around COVID-19 speaking with the University of British Columbia and taking our lead from the Provincial Health Ministry. With the recent announcement that there are to be no gatherings in excess of 50 people, it is too early to determine a decision during which ...we will proceed with the scheduled date of June 12-14, 2020. We are always committed to the health and safety of our community as it has always been our first priority. Please stay hopeful as we want you to be able to showcase and watch an exciting weekend full of National and Olympic level swimmers from all across the world race their highest potentials. While the event is still 3 months away, we will do everything in our power to keep our event moving forward while keeping everyone’s safety in mind. We ask that you follow all guidelines regarding personal hygiene and sanitary measures, such as frequent and vigorous hand washing, and if you are feeling unwell, stay home and rest up. These are tough times for all of us, but we are looking forward to seeing you very soon.
