MARCH. IS. BUSY! Or at least - busiER than it has any right to be. First up is the Theatre Harlow Fundraising group's Performance Showcase EXTRAVAGANZA! (and Silent Auction), Saturday, March 14th. Show up and help out the class of 2021 as they raise money for their trip to Harlow, England, next year! We promise it will be the most fun you've had donating $10 EVER.... And if you're not done having fun that weekend, well wouldn't you know it, we've got you covered again! Literally the next day, Sunday, March 15th, come back on down and take in musician MAX MARSHALL, all the way from Ontario! Max is a guitarist proficient in Canadian folk, country blues, and ragtime - so basically almost everything you could ask for to put a pin in your weekend. On Friday, March 20th, Swirsky's is once again home to SEASONALLY DISORDERED, an annual showcase of original short plays, written by and featuring local theatre practitioners! This is year three for Seasonally and we've got another amazing combination of creative work and impressive talent. A lot of people from our community come together to build this and I hope you get a chance to take in all their effort.

Hi all, Due to the events of the last four days and the shuttering of other performances in town, we have decided to POSTPONE Seasonally Disordered 2020. We un...derstand the concerns around Covid-19 right now and want to respect the social distancing measures people are taking in an effort to keep everyone safe. However, our crew has worked too hard for too long to cancel and I (personally) am too stubborn of a person to throw away their hard work. We ask that you please be patient with us as we coordinate a new date and keep your eyes peeled for more Seasonally Disordered information in the coming weeks. As every year, always, we thank you so much for your continued support and appreciation. We'll be back soon. <3

Just a reminder that tonight’s showcase is NOT GOING AHEAD. It will be postponed until further notice. Thanks to everyone for all your support so far, and don’t forget to tell your friends and family about our GRAND IN THE HAND!

Born in Windsor, Ontario, and currently based in Essex County, Max Marshall has performed publicly since childhood and in live music venues since the age of 14, and has grown into a passion for stories from the vast palate of the Canadian folk identity. Marshall has chosen finger style acoustic guitar as his medium with a preference for folk/country blues/ragtime as his true musical purpose. In a performance that extends from soft introspection to frenzied, bluesy, interpretations, Max Marshall gives audiences a heartfelt, personal performance, featuring a guitar style that is largely underexposed. Max performs at Swirsky's on Broadway this Sunday, March 15th, at 7 PM! Cover is $10 at the door and make sure your wallets are full because this is a cash only event!

Join local authors Sarah Thompson and Josh Connors for the official release of their books. "The Love of Summer", a lesbian romance novel about love, coming of ...age and learning about one's self and "Small Town Queer", a stage play created from real stories of growing up as a member of the LGBTQ+ in small town Newfoundland and Labrador. Both books have been garnering unbridled success in the online markets and now they're available to own in paperback format. April 24th, 7:30pm at Swirsky's on Broadway The evening's events will kick off with readings from both books by the authors as well as signed copies available to purchase. Followed by a cocktail hour and fun filled karaoke to round out the night (no singing ability required...it's much more fun that way.) *There is no cover charge for this event but any and all donations will be accepted at the door. **Please note that this is an all ages event at a performance venue that will be serving alcoholic beverages.
