We are back to work on a limited basis, by appointment only. Things will look a little bit different and will take more time, so we appreciate your patience. Fit tests COMPLETE! Now we are approved to order the masks that we need to keep all of us as safe as possible. Still working to acquire gowns and face shields and the plexiglass barriers will be installed this week. Slowly but surely...well see you soon

UPDATE: Although the recent televised updates from our Minister of Health suggest that clinics can begin to open based on the decision of the owner/operator, its important for our patients to know that Denturists (and all of the oral health professions) are regulated by an additional level of government known as Colleges. The College of Alberta Denturists determines when and how we can go back to work safely. To that end, no orders have changed for denture clinics in the p...rovince of Alberta since March 17. Non-essential services are still suspended until further notice. We have also been advised that our college is drafting new standards for IP&C (infection prevention and control) in the context of COVID 19. Drafting these standards is VERY important for the protection of both public health and the health of our staff and will not be rushed. It is also certain that the new standards will require extensively elevated PPE (personal protective equipment) which is already limited in availability and understandably prioritized for hospital staff. This means that even when the College relaxes some of the restrictions we may not be ABLE to open until we can secure a supply of PPE. So with that said, we want you to know that we hear you and we know that you need us. We are currently taking steps to make our clinic as safe as possible and that will take time. We are asking our patients who are in the midst of ongoing care with dental implants and surgical dentures to please contact us to arrange follow-up care, so that we can manage a limited by appointment only schedule accordingly. We are in the process of postponing all other elective procedures until April.

We are a small staff and can easily maintain more than 2m of distance between our work-stations. Also, all of us are currently feeling well and do not have small children at home.
