SWL 50th Anniversary Reunion

We seem to have a lot of "looks" lately...maybe feeling nostalgic? For those that didn't get their t-shirts, wine glasses or beer steins and would like to grab some, please let me know.

Arthur (Friar) Tuck is looking for an alumni.....Lindsay Powell (male) who graduated in the early 70's. Arthur is on FB as FRIAR TUCK so if anyone has any information, please contact him directly.

Had an amazing evening with the reunion committee last night. Thank you Russell & Alison Sutherland for your hospitality!

We did it!!!! And it was a success!!!! To all of the Sir Wilfrid Laurier CI 50th reunion committee and Alumni, we would like to thank each of you for helping pull this off. We started with a thought of having a party..a BIG PARTY..with no money, no venue and no idea of how we’ll do it. I believe we have achieved it all!! An incredible party and a great school gathering but more importantly, we have achieved the reunion of friends and teachers who will likely stay connected... for many years to come! We had alumni coming from everywhere, not just from Canada and the USA but from all over the world. We have over 1200 people on the facebook reunion page, 700 plus members on the Grad page, a data base of hundreds, and photographs and memories to last a life time. We organized many different events.. a golf tournament, the Pub Night, School open house and a staff brunch as well. Our goal was always in the fore-front for everything we did, to raise money for a scholarship fund to help future alumni further there education. We succeeded in raising over $14,000.00 for the scholarship. For this, we thank each and every one of you who helped make this a success!!! THANK-YOU!! The massive outpouring of thanks for the reunion committee has been so heart-warming. It was a labour of love for us and it is a joy to hear so many people comment on what an amazing time they had at both events. It was worth every moment when we hear these kind words.
