Genevieve is very artistic, and her talent amazes everyone who sees her sketches. To reflect this, Genevieve wished for a room makeover and a space to call her own that is bright, expresses her creativity and colourful personality. As a child who has to spend 2-3 hours a day in a chair completing treatment, she was over the moon to have a fun and comfortable place to do this. Genevieve is so excited to make new memories and hang out in her new room. Her mom states Now she can just hang out in her room like other girls her age, instead of sitting in the living room doing her treatments. Born 12 weeks early, Fionn has faced medical challenges, including a life-threatening heart condition. He is the definition of courage. A serious hockey fan, Fionn, knew there was only one wish that would do - to become a member of his favourite NHL hockey team, the @CalgaryFlames. At a packed news conference on Fionn’s wish day, Flames General Manager, @BradTreliving, announced the signing of the nine-year-old defenceman to a one-day contract with the team. After signing th...e contract and answering media questions, Fionn and his brothers later joined the Flames on the ice for an afternoon skate where he showed off his impressive puck-handling skills in his sledge. The day was indeed a wish-come-true. It was a memorable wish day not only for Fionn and his family, but for the Flames players as well. Arden loves Japanese comic books a and is also a big foodie! When he was diagnosed with a brain tumour, Arden’s taste buds were affected by his treatments. After completing treatment, his sense of taste slowly returned. That’s when he began doing research into Japanese food, and eventually led him to wish go and eat at Michelin star rated restaurant in Tokyo, Japan. The highlight of the trip was the nine-course tasting menu at Narisawa. As an added bonus, Arden and his mom met the chef and owner, Yoshihiro Narisawa, who gave them a special, behind-the-scenes tour of his kitchen. Thomas was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect at two years old and has had four open heart surgeries. He has always been passionate about tigers and they have been his favourite animal for as long as he can remember.
