Prayer Shawl Ministry: Wednesday, November 18 2020 - 11 am to 1 pm: in The Spire upper kitchen. Join us for some knitting, crocheting and conversation. Please bring your own beverage along with your lunch and any prayer shawls you have managed to complete during the summer and of course your ongoing knitting/crocheting. HOW ARE YOU FARING? The news this week has clearly been unsettling, sad and certainly not where we wanted to be. Rest assured we will see this through our congregation is strong, determined and resilient.... Our vision is solid and our mission to pursue our three ministries will lead us forward. The Joint Executive Committee will meet again today to work on joint plans for the next 4 months. An SSUC Strategy Group is set to work out our own specific path forward, to recommend to our Executive Committee Sunday services will continue to be delivered on line. We do not expect face-to-face services before September. Each Thursday morning starting next week there will be a Just Coffee virtual meeting with our Minister. Plans are underway to convene a Congregational Meeting via Zoom by the end of May. More information will be forthcoming. Please remember our many friends at Chalmers in your prayers.
