We had our first meeting of the season, in person, at the club hall this week! Most members were in attendance as well. Social distancing and masks were in play. It was great to be back and we even accepted a donation from a fellow service club, the Kiwanis Golden K of Sydney. They are making use of our Y's hall for their weekly meetings and, to broadcast their TV Bingo events, as well. Now that's working together to serve our community, eh! Welcome to the Golden K!

I am sad to post that our club has lost a long standing member, and a true gentleman. Our sincere condolences go out to all his family and friends at this sad time. RIP Marcel- you will be missed by all!

2022 is going to be a great time for Y's International Convention - WOW -that's celebrating 100 years in style!

Wow- this is quite the effort put forth by our fellow club in Saint John!! Kudos!!

I have learned something today. July 1 is the beginning of the Y's year. We always break for the Summer here in CB, so I always thought of it as the end- LOL. All of our members, would like to say THANK YOU for your support and have a SAFE & HEALTHY Summer everyone!! See you in the Fall!!

HOME SHOW UPDATE: Due to the ongoing COVID 19 situation the show will be postponed until the Fall of 2020. We hope everyone is staying safe and practicing social distancing and washing theirs hands frequently!!

ARE YOU READY FOR THE HOME SHOW? If you are looking to get into the show as an exhibitor with your home reno, home design, home or property care, property service or other home related business booth, now is the time to check in because there are only a few spaces left!! This year it is going to be held on April 18-19. Watch for the event page to be up and running soon!

2019 Sydney-Riverview Y Service Club Christmas Dinner

We are open again this coming weekend from 8 am- 5 pm- Sat & Sun! Trees are $35.00 each and all the money raised from the sales goes back into the community! Our annual Christmas Tree fundraiser is going to kick off this weekend! Come see us at the club hall on the Westmount Rd. just down from the Sydney River bridge. We will be selling Christmas Trees on Dec 7 & 8 from 8 am to 5 pm. Again on the 14 & 15, if there are any remaining? The cost of our trees will be $35.00. All money raised from the Christmas Tree sales will help our Service Club carry out our Community Service. If you could, please share this with your friends. See you soon & Happy Holidays!!
