Today finally marks the end of Covid-19 restrictions on dental care in Nova Scotia. Regular services will resume at the clinic on Monday! . Now, more than ever, I am SO grateful for the support of our community. Thank you so much for welcoming us back into the workforce and for showing appreciation for your oral health care team . And there is so much else to be thankful for this weekend: my amazing team at work; gathering with friends again; our first wedding annivers...ary, the love and support of our families (happy Father’s Day Dad and Shaun!!); and warm summer sunshine on Cape Breton Island! . Dental offices in Nova Scotia will be authorized starting June 5 to provide emergency and urgent dental treatment in their clinics. While dental offices have al...ways followed strict infection control guidelines, they will be following additional protocols identified by the Provincial Dental Board of Nova Scotia and in collaboration with Public Health. What’s the difference between emergency, urgent, and non-urgent dental treatment? Dental emergency: potentially life-threatening conditions which require immediate treatment. Urgent dental care: conditions that require immediate attention to relieve severe pain and/or risk of infection. Non-urgent dental care: includes regular check-ups and hygiene appointments and are not to be performed until June 19. Dentists will be able to provide all dental procedures starting on June 19. Hi Everyone!! I am pleased to announce that we will be open and taking your calls during regular office hours beginning Monday, June 8th. As directed by the Provincial Dental Board of Nova Scotia, we will be limiting our services to emergencies and urgent dental treatment from June 8th June 18th.... Regular services will resume June 22nd! To everyone whose appointments we’ve had to cancel as a result of Covid-19, and everyone I’ve spoken with over the past 12 weeks - We will be contacting you to schedule an appointment. It may take a few weeks to get in contact with everyone. We truly appreciate your patience.
