Each of the signs you see here is a true story about a Canadian worker who sustained a life-altering injury, died on the job, or suffered an occupational disease. We share these stories to honour and remember loved ones. We share these stories to show these are real people, not statistics. This May, we'll be sharing our #MyWhyMyWay as we participate in Steps for Life to raise awareness about the importance of workplace safety. Sadly, the Steps for Life walks will have to be virtual events this year. Our cause is still equally as important, especially for all of the front line staff and essential services who are facing new risks everyday. We are working to confirm updated information for the 2020 Steps for Life event, and will update everyone as soon as we have more information to share.
