Hey all networkers, Child and Youth in Care Week 2020 is coming up. Due to COVID-19 it will look different this year. We have decided it take place August 10 to 14, 2020 and will include the SYICCN's very first Socially Distanced Community Parade. If you have any ideas for this event please let us know by emailing Stephanie or Richard @ [email protected]. Let's make 2020 Child and Youth in Care Week the best week during a pandemic.

The voice of youth in care is strong across Canada. Thank you to the CWLC for all the work your doing to ensure the health safety and rights of youth in care are being met.

Calling all youth in care/custody. Are you 14 to 24 years old. Are you, or have you lived in care or custody. Do you have opinions on what is working and what is not working regarding child welfare and young offenders. The SYICCN would like to know. If you answered yes then contact the SYICCN to register for a focus group taking place on November 23rd in Regina. For more information or to register contact Richard R Syiccn. You can also email to [email protected] or call 306-522-1533.
