FEATURE FRIDAY "Hey guys Molson here to talk about my new toy. I love canned food! I never used to get it until I got sick last year. To make it more fun mom stuffs it in these toys so I have to work to get it out. It's pretty cool and they come in lots of fun shapes and sizes. My sister has one too and she loves to play with it in her kennel. Mom likes to freeze them so the canned food gets really hard and I really have to work at it! You can get these fun toys on the new on...line store, mom says they deliver right to your door. Your dog may bark at the delivery guy but then be really happy they got a new toy! Shop this toy and my other favourite thing below". https://sylvanlakevet.clientvantage.ca/molsons-top-picks https://sylvanlakevet.clientvantage.ca/toy-dog-kong-quest-b #sylvanlakevet #featurefriday #wehaveanonlinestore #puzzletoysfordogs

Along with seasonal changes, there are many other culprits that can lead to skin problems in pets. Allergies are a common problem caused by foods, fleas and environmental substances. Pets with arthritis often experience more pain and discomfort in the winter. Some researchers believe that cooler temperatures cause a drop in barometric pressure, increasing joint inflammation that puts pressure on the nerves. Joints also tend to stiffen up in the winter when pets are less active, making arthritis pain worse. If you notice any limping, reluctance to climb stairs, lagging behind on walks, or a change in personality, let’s talk about ways we can keep your pe...t more comfortable. #sylvanlakevet #seniorpetmonth #seniorpets #arthritisinpets

BREAKING NEWS!! Two fugitives that have been on the 'run' are finally in the 'cage' where they belong. Eljay and Tex have had a long run-in with the law and are well known to the Sylvan Lake Veterinary Clinic. Their past offences include excessive barking, being demanding, and playing cute to get more treats. Eljay and Tex are members of the notorious Ruff Hound gang and finally back where they belong. ... Sylvan Lake veterinarian Dr. Hodges said "We are PAWsitively grateful that these two can no longer TERRIER-ize the neighborhood. This is a big hit to the Ruff Hound gang." Bikini Chicken, street name B-Chick, was brought in on charges as an accessory to a crime related to the Ruff Hound Gang. We are very disappointed in her decisions and will be putting her on house arrest. #sylvanlakevet #sylvanlake #bikinichickenapproved #dogsofinstagram #sundayvethumour
