This is "CJ Spiked Firewater", a 3yr old Superstakes gelding sired by Sympatico Red and out of one of my own daughters of Fire Water Flit. My mom and I raised this guy here on the ranch but he now is owned by Lynn Dent-Wilson. I think this is one of my favorite crosses! He is a nice-mover, has an incredible work-ethic and everything you show him is just "easy" for him. Thank You Lynn for allowing me to be part of his training. We are very excited for you and this geldings future as a barrel horse.

One of our broodmares "Splash Dash" placing 5th in the OPEN-1D in the 3rd-Go of the BC Barrel Racing Finals (300+ entries).

As an equine breeder you strive to create the perfect cross and hope that one day these offspring will end up in capable hands and have the chance at becoming a... champion. It is sometimes a thankless job, you spend hours at the barn riding, training and caring for the horses. You pour a lot of blood, sweat, tears, and money into your program and often the rewards wont be seen until years down the road. Its not for the faint of heart, sometimes you raise champions, sometimes you dont and sometimes you will lose the best youve ever had--its just all part of the game. My mom and I have been breeding horses together for over 20-years. We dont do it for the glory, we do it because we love it and we love our horses. Its our passion to raise and train equine athletes that make dreams come true. I cant tell you how rewarding it feels to have horses you raised or trained out there winning whether its with you or someone else---you feel just as proud of them as if they were your own kids. Every once in awhile certain horses come along that hold an extra special place in your heart and in the last few months we have one super special mare in our barn that has truly outdone herself and deserves a little extra credit. "Easy Hemp N Money" is one of our homegrown mares and is sired by our barrel racing stallion "Sympatico Red" and one of our late barrel racing broodmares "Easy Bonus" x Easy Hempen. This past weekend, "Easy Hemp N Money" and I brought home the 2019 BC Barrel Racing Finals Open Reserve Championship. She tied for the win in Go-Round #1 and placed in every go-round of the finals battling it out all weekend for the title. She finished 2nd overall in the average out of over 900+ runs. Prior to the BC Finals, this mare was also crowned the Lucky 7 Barrel Series winner with Linda Geensen as her jockey. The two were awarded the grand-prize for their win, a beautiful weanling filly generously donated by Simmone Fowler of Diamond 7 Performance Horses. This little rocket won one of the Lucky 7 Barrel Races by over 4-tenths of a second, made a clean sweep of the Senior-1D class and consistently placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the Open throughout the summer to take home the championship. Ive never rode a mare with more grit and try. It has been amazing to have this girl back out and running again! Our special mare "Splash Dash" has been filling-in the past few weeks for me at some barrel races. I cracked her out after almost 6-years of not even seeing a barrel and she made me some good 2D money at the Afterburn Race and we tipped to place 2nd in the Open-1D at a jackpot a few nights back. It just goes to show you that even when they are a little rusty they never forget their job when they are so competitive and love to run barrels! We are super excited about our junior up-and-coming stallion "Streakin Samurai" out of this mare and A Streak Of Fling so stay tuned! "Splash Dash" has been bred to Sympatico Red for a 2020 foal.

Linda Geensen and "Easy Hemp N Money" aka Alley continued their hot-streak and finished 2nd in the OPEN-1D and 1st in the Seniors at Kings Lucky 7 Barrel Race on June 19th. Great jump-riding Linda!

This team is on fire and just added another top 1D placing to their credentials running against a tough pen of barrel racers! Bravo Vanessa Salisbury and "Mito Judge Jaxon" on placing 3rd in the OPEN-1D against 80+ girls in Alberta, Canada.
