The gut and skin microbiota are made up of trillions of microbes, derived from thousands of different strains, that live together as an intricate ecological community. The Gut-Skin Axis is a widely researched concept though not yet fully understood. Regardless, researchers are confident that there is a relationship between gut health and skin health. It has been clinically proven that when digestive balance is off whether the cause is... stress, poor diet, or lack of sleep the gut becomes overrun with bad bacteria, which can lead to skin-aggravating inflammation. In the gut, bacterial imbalances are linked to inflammatory conditions like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), diarrhea, and constipation. And gut issues can also manifest in other parts of the body - anxiety, depression, low mood, low energy, hormone problems, or even chronic back pain. The gut microbiota seems to play a role in everything, yes even protection from the flu and virus'. If this year hasn't taught you that your health is important, i'm not sure what will. It's time to start taking your care of your body. If you're ready to start taking your health seriously, send us a message. The Fear of Taking Risks May Be Holding You Back in Life. Try these 2 Mental Strength Exercises Will Help You Conquer that fear you need to take risks, challenge yourself, and try harder if you want to grow stronger and become better. Your brain will try to convince you to play it safe. It will tell you that you can't succeed or that you shouldn't bother trying something new. ... But even when these thoughts lack a rational basis, we still sometimes allow our anxiety to prevail. Instead of thinking about what could be when we take a risk, we focus on "what if?" And while avoiding all risk might seem like a smart way to manage anxiety, in the long run, playing it small is the perfect recipe for depression. Sometimes, you need to take risks, challenge yourself, and try harder at things, if you want to grow stronger and become better. Of course, not all risks are good risks. You only want to take the calculated risks that can truly improve your life (not just the risks that feel good now). If you find yourself fearing to take healthy, calculated risks, then here are two strategies that can help: 1 Balance your emotions with logic. Too often, we think our fear is directly related to the level of the risk. The scarier something feels, the riskier it must be. But that's not an accurate way to gauge risk. So before you talk yourself out of doing something that feels risky, spend a few minutes thinking about the actual level of risk you are up against. Ask yourself, "What risk do I actually face? How can I handle it if it doesn't work out?" 2 Take steps to increase your chances of success. There are lots of steps you can take to reduce the risk that you face. Maybe you decide to spend a lot of time practicing a speech before you deliver it. This could increase your chances of success. Or maybe you decide to wait until your side hustle is consistently delivering income before you quit your day job and become an entrepreneur. This might be a wise, calculated risk to take. - this is what I did. I suggest doing something that makes you uncomfortable once a month and doing something that scares the out of you once a year Build Your Mental Muscle Taking calculated risks is a great way to build mental strength. Doing things that scare you helps you learn to tolerate uncertainty and anxiety. It also provides you with a chance to sharpen your skills and learn from your mistakes. #anxiety #anxietyrelief #anxietyawareness #anxietyproblems #anxietyattack #anxietysupport #anxietyquote #stressrelief #anxietyrecovery#anxietyfree #panicattack #mentalillness#anxious #mentalhealthawareness##anxietywarrior #anxietysucks#anxietyfighter #overcominganxiety #mentalillnessrecovery #mentalhealthblogger #nutritionist #mentalhealth What was your last risk you took?

Negative thinking contributes to anxiety in social and performance situations. Most therapies for social anxiety involve an aspect dedicated to changing negative thought patterns into more helpful and positive ways of looking at situations. The key to changing your negative thoughts is to understand how you think now (and the problems that result) and then use 4 questions to change thoughts or make them have less effect. ... These questions don't need to be carried out with a therapist but can be used whenever they pop up. Your mind is one of the most powerful tools you have to live a good life. If you don’t know how or don’t think you have the power to change it, it can be the most destructive force in your life. It ruins your work and personal relationships, causes problems at work, and create an unhappy or unsatisfied life. Not being controlled by your thoughts or even better being able to control your thoughts is an important step in being content with life. Your perception of life is created by your mind, your thoughts, your past experiences, and your beliefs. Your thoughts dictate your perception of life. Your perception of life is your reality

We've just upgraded our skills We're SO stoked to use the skills we gained in an intensive 4 day course we just took! It's Visceral manipulation (commonly referred as organ massage). It looks at the organ in relation to pain and problems.... Do you have that pain or tension that just keeps coming back no matter how many times you stretch, foam roll, or go to the chiropractor? How about that back pain/tension that's just always there? Though we can do many great things with our diet to feel better, it just may not be enough to feel better. This may be because there's a structural restriction from allow your organ to move freely. That chronic back pain that doesn't go away from massage or chiropractic may be from part of your large intestine not moving well. That neck pain and headaches that you get can be from restrictions in your gallbladder. If you have problems in your small intense, things like low energy levels, both feet cold, or some insomnia - it can be reduced drastically with hands on techniques. Muscles only do what they're told , they're at the bottom of importance. PS... This does WONDERS for hot flashes and menopause If you want to learn more about this, send me a message. If you want to know if this can help you, ask me questions and we can chat.
