What to expect from your Massage Therapy appointment.

COVID-19 UPDATE: May 29th I am so excited to announce that Synergy will be back open as of June 1st!! With that said, there will be several necessary changes to my practice required by the government and my governing body, the CMTO. All of these changes will ensure your safety, and the safety of all of my clients while adhering to the new requirements put in place by the Ontario Chief Medical Officer of Health directives, Ministry of Health, MOH Covid-19 Operational Requirem...ents, as well as workplace safety guidelines. These changes will result in fewer clients being treated on a daily basis. This will ensure clients will not have any interactions while waiting for their appointment, while also allowing for more extensive cleaning and disinfecting protocols to be adhered to. What to expect when coming for your massage: **clients must be pre-screened for the risk of Covid-19, and fill out an online form which will be sent to you before your scheduled appointment **clients are asked to come wearing a clean disposable or reusable mask that can be worn throughout the treatment. If the client cannot wear a mask due to health conditions or difficulty breathing this can be discussed with me prior to treatment. **clients are asked to arrive to their appointment approximately 5 minutes before their treatment time to allow for pre-screening and hand washing/sanitizing. **please arrive to your treatments alone (when possible) As I get back into business, I would love if you could help me spread the word. To my Valued Clients, Synergy will be closed temporarily in light of the recent COVID-19 outbreak. During this time of extreme challenge to Ontarian's, and our Healthcare system, it has been strongly recommended by my regulating body (CMTO), and the Federal and Provincial governments to close temporarily. As we all know, the events of the past days, and weeks, have been unprecedented. I will continue to closely monitor Public Health for the most up-to-date information, and r...ecommendations from the CMTO, as well, from our Governments as we move forward through this continually changing situation. At this time, I plan to reopen my clinic to clients April 6th, unless any new recommendations should arise. If you currently have an appointment scheduled with me between now and April 3rd, I will have to cancel it, and reschedule those of you who do not have any further treatments scheduled.
