Meet Chris Schnare! Well, since I (Chris) am doing the write ups for our Meet The Team series, I thought it suiting to use the last one to post a picture of myself for any of our new members who work with the coaching team that I may have not yet met!! I wanted to share 9 additional pics showing some of the progressions from when I started the company solo, which has now become a network of hundreds of current members and a dynamic group that I am very proud to call my ...team! The second picture is a hand drawn logo that @jessieyerxa_yourrealtor did for me during my first 8 weeks out of university when I thought I could start a company. Turns out, I was way too inexperienced at this point, but my 23 year old ego thought I could. Who knew This first company- High Caliber Fitness, made ZERO dollars, and no, you will have never heard of this company. I keep 1 remaining poster in a frame in my office as a reminder. I even put off paying rent one month to buy posters, which I stapled all over Fredericton and had a website built that also generated zero leads or dollars . Classic fail The 3rd photo is of a small yoda, that was given to me in 2009 by a personal training client, Laura. She brought it in for me when I trained people after work at the CFB Gagetown gym. She would call me Yoda in our e-mails, so hence the toy. He has been in the facility, randomly placed all over the gym in peculiar places since the day I opened the gym in 2011. Fortunately, and by no means easily, it has all worked out and Synergy is approaching 10 years in June. The rest of the pictures are of some of the progressions the facility has gone through, as well as a photo of my main Head Coach over the last 7 years, Trevor Pardy, who was instrumental in me finally being able to step away from time to time with confidence. Enjoy the pics and the nostalgia. This coming week we will highlight 2 pieces of information/day on the most common questions we get about our facility and operations. We operate unlike any facility we are aware of on the East Coast, so we will highlight some of the primary differences for you! Team Synergy!

Meet Jake Mason! If you haven’t met Jake yet, you can catch him on Saturday and Sunday mornings, as our weekend intern coach! Jake joined us over 7 years ago as a young 13 year old athlete, weighing in at a soaking wet 135-145lbs or so! ... At a young age, he showed incredible work ethic in the gym as a young athlete, reliable training partner and after a while, a perfect and frequent pain in my ass (Chris here )! Jake was the little brother I never had, and over the years our relationship grew from coach and athlete, to mentor and intern, to just simply friends and teammates at Synergy. Jake became our first intern coach at Synergy, flowing into the role as an experienced lifter after entering his Science Kinesiology program at UNB. He is entering his last year in the program and has balanced being a student, competitive lifter and part-time coach at Synergy in a mature way and we look forward to the contributions he is going to have in people’s lives. We expect great things as he enters the professional side of his future career in the clinical environment. Jake analyzes situations in the gym and applies his growing knowledge of exercise science and its applications in order to help our members. He has proven himself to be a trusted young member of our team. Here is the link to learn a bit more about Jake and the rest of the Synergy team! https://www.synergytc.ca/jake-mason

Meet Trevor Pardy! Today, I (Chris) as the founder and Director of Synergy, are proud to introduce you to my longest standing team member, Trevor Pardy! 7 Years ago, Trevor joined my 1 man team at Synergy, only 3 years into its opening. ... Trevor comes packed with a list of traits that the company needed, and even more so, the support and trust that I needed as an owner. Educated, precise and loyal are words that accurately describe Trevor. He is the epitome of a trustworthy and caring teammate and plays an essential role as one of our evening Head Coaches. Trev is able to see movement errors and minor details with an expert level coaches eye, making him an incredible asset to advanced lifters looking to reach the next level in their training.
