Syria Film Festival 2017 in Kitchener will include The Island of all together movie, by Marieke van der Velden, Philip Brink "the stories of love and co-existence that took place on the Greek Island of Lesbos between Syrian refugees and Tourists, European tourists and Syrian refugees talk with each other on the Greek island Lesbos"... Syria Film Festival 02.01.2021

We are pleased to announce that Syrian writer and filmmaker, Mr. Wael Saad Al Din, will be delivering a brief keynote speech on the last day of the festival, right after the screening of his film Yellow. A Q&A session will be held following the speech, where Mr. Wael will try to answer all your questions and inquiries. Yellow is a short film inspired by the real life detention experience of Mr. Wael, who once spent three years inside the prison cells of Al Assad regime.... We will be happy to see you at the festival and sail together on this mind opening heart touching adventure.
