She Yielded to NO Challenge 02.02.2021

We made it! 2020 did exactly what I wanted it to do, it brought vision and clarity. Definitely not in a way that I was comfortable with, but when has change ever been comfortable? I look forward to whatever the new year and beyond has in store. Remember to take the time to rest and reset, it will do wonders for not only your physical but mental health too! -Nique, Founder of SYTNC

Y’all ready to do this again?! SYTNC 41 Mile Birthday Challenge! Each November I plan on holding this challenge and increasing it by one to reflect how old Shauntel would have turned. Last year’s challenge was awesome and I couldn’t wait to do this again in honor of Shauntel. She was one of the biggest advocates for overall wellness. November 15th would have been Shauntel’s 41st Birthday! ... I challenge you to complete 41 miles of running, walking, swimming, biking or a combination of all, for the month of November (1st -30th). 30 days to take control of your health and wellness by getting out there and creating better lifestyle choices for yourself! Within the group there will be encouragement, workout tips, and diet tips. Challenge each other and let this be the jump start to better health and fitness as we approach the holiday season. If you have Nike Run Club, Strava, Map My Run, Apple iWatch, Fitbit, or any other APP to log your fitness, now is the time to use it. Screenshot your progress throughout the month and share it by using the hashtag #SYTNC41challenge Are you excited? I am and I look forward to you joining me this month as we celebrate Shauntel and taking over our health and wellness! Yield for what?! Dominique Founder of She Yielded to NO Challenge

My Love Posted @smooch_me86 In the spirit of Breast Cancer Awareness month, I want to share a personal story, because the more we know is important. What we don't know is the scariest. Just a little over 5 years ago, I discovered a tiny lump on my left breast that scared the shit out of me. Needless to say, I was scared, many tears, all the emotions in the world ran through my head. Restless nights and just painting all the scenarios in my head. Pretty ironic that it sounds... like this year for many people. It feels like a full circle. I just went in for a mammogram and ultrasounds yesterday to continue to screen and monitor any possible changes. With a very full heart, forever thankful and just so relieved, I am okay guys! The initial scare led me to learn that I may have a breast cyst, but nope. The doctor informed me that this is a very common occurence for women, where my body is overproducing hormones and caused my breast tissues to create a lump. My zest for life was instantly recharged from this scare. There are so many reasons we give ourselves not to put ourselves first, and we only need one to commit. That's yourself. I couldn't imagine not being here with my family and reminded myself not to take anything for granted. My wellness and health is non-negotiable. Being the beauty junkie that I am, I am sure I put a lot of crap onto my skin that may or may not have impacted my own scare. @beautycounter hits home for me. Safety is the forefront of everything we do. While we can't prevent all diseases, we can prevent our exposure to chemicals linked to them. I challenge you to download the @environmentalworkinggroup app on your phone. Scan some of your products and see what's going on your skin and into your body. Let me help you revamp your beauty routine and being a #cleanswap. At Beautycounter, we our proud partners with @bcppartners, one of our trusted nonprofits, and support their advocacy and policy efforts to eliminate toxic chemicals from our environments Shop today to put yourself first and support couple organizations that will help many warriors live longer and healthier lives! That sounds pretty amazing to me #mystory
