Komorebi Acrylic on canvas In moments where we need to feel that sunlight filtering through the trees or that hope filtering through the times we live in. I wanted this piece to be representative of the times and the feelings we share as a collective community.... Komorebi (koh-mo-reh-bee) Komorebi, the Japanese expression for the sunlight as it filters through the trees, is made up of the kanji characters for tree (), shine through (), and sun (). Komorebi (): Sunshine filtering through the trees. Komorebi roughly translates as the scattered light that filters through when sunlight shines through trees. ... No comparable English word for this tree-light exists. While the English language has sunbeam or dappled light, these are more general.
This is a sweet presentation from my latest piece primary... check it out and let me know what you think on the comments
