Taber Shooting Foundation 04.12.2020

As 2020 winds down, a reminder to all members that your 2020 TSF membership runs out on Dec. 31/2020. Membership renewal is $100 As always we give our members some time to renew their memberships. Any memberships not renewed by Feb. 28/2021 will have their key fob deactivated promptly on March 1/2021. After that your renewal is considered late and the renewal fee will be $125 to cover activation and deactivation of gate key fobs. Due to Covid, this year is a little different.... We know that many members choose to drop in to our Annual General Meeting in January to renew their memberships. As of now we are still hoping to have our AGM in January but the Covid rules change rapidly and we still can't be sure of if and when the AGM will be held. Even if we can have the meeting, with restrictions, we will not be accepting new memberships or renewals at the meeting. All renewals and new memberships MUST be done through our website at www.shoot-taber.org Payments can be made by Etransfer to [email protected] or you can make payment at Section 8 in Lethbridge or send the TSF a cheque. You can also call me if you need any more information or would like to make another arrangement for payment. 403-308-2720. Just a reminder that our range remains open. See more

The Canadian federal government banned 1,500 types of assault-style firearms earlier this year, but the Alberta Government wants your feedback on firearms legislation. The Alberta Firearms Advisory Committee (AFAC) will hold two telephone town halls, on November 17 and November 23, and is still accepting online surveys until December 6. Link to find the survey or register for a town hall is:... https://www.alberta.ca/alberta-firearms-advisory-committee. The survey does not require any personal information. Registration for a town hall meeting requires your name, phone number and email address. Please at least complete a survey.
