The Table Mountain Ski Club 2020/2021 AGM is going to be held on Tuesday, February 9th at 7:30PM. Tyler Pochynuk will be stepping down as Nancy Greene coordinator, his term will end at the beginning of our next season. Russ Harris will also be leaving his role as a member at large. If you or someone you know might be interested in either of these roles, it is a great opportunity to share your passion with a fantastic group of eager kids. The Table Mountain Ski Club has been working diligently over the last couple of months in preparation for the upcoming ski season. Our COVID-19 Return to Sport plan has been reviewed by Saskatchewan Alpine and has been given authorization for release. Knowing that the current COVID-19 situation is fluid, the plan may be modified to suit the current restrictions being placed in Saskatchewan. In addition to the COVID plan, we have been in constant communication with Table Mount...ain Regional Park leadership and will be following their guidelines to further our compliance. Due to Government restrictions regarding Sports, restrictions placed on Ski Resorts and the warm weather we have been experiencing, an actual opening date from the hill at this time is unknown. However, our tentative start date for programming is January 2, 2020. This start date all hinges on the restrictions and ability for the hill to open due to snow conditions. This start date may be moved depending on these circumstances. We would like to encourage you to continue to register your athletes for the upcoming season. This will help us to be able to plan for the numbers we will need to accommodate. At some point we may need to cap registrations and start a waiting list in order to comply with regulations and allocate resources. If for some reason the season doesn’t start you will be issued a full refund. For those still registering and those that already have we would like to remind you to please fill out your ACA forms. This is an insurance form for our sport that gives you coverage in the event you are involved in an incident or injured while assisting or participating in any activities with the club. Your personal coverage would likely not cover you if something were to happen on snow. These MUST be completed for every athlete, parent and volunteer. If they are not completed your athlete will not be able to participate until these forms are fully completed. You may also find your access to club buildings and other venues restricted if your forms are not completed prior to the start of the season. The club will also be providing a safe space away from the day lodge. We will be providing trailer type structures to accommodate warm-ups, dressing, etc. These structures will provide proper social distancing, disinfection procedures and signage. Our COVID-19 Return to Sport plan will available on our website in the next couple days.

We have had such a large interest in buying and selling ski equipment we created a FB group called Sask Ski Swap for those interested in buying and selling equipment. Come on over and join the group. Post what you have, request what you need but buy at your own risk!

We are sorry to announce that currently, due to the Covid regulations, we are unable to hold our annual ski swap.

We are planning on opening this season, come early December. As things are currently changing on a daily basis, we are working with Sask Health and Canada West in developing our guidelines. We will post them come early November. #discoverlloydminster #ExploreBattlefords
