A lot of changes have been made to the facilities and trails on Tabor Mountain in the past two years. Time, effort, and money have added bridges, shelters, and a new Universal Access area so that all can enjoy the beauty of this multi-use managed area. See the website at http://tmrs.ca for more details and lots of photos.

Hi skiers: 11 of us had a great ski Sunday December 22nd up the Birchleg/Sawdust Trail to the Beaver Shelter. Snowshoers had broken the trail to about the 4 Km mark and then we had to take over from there. Conditions were great and so was the "Company". Merry Christmas to all of you from our Club and participants. Cheers, Norm

It gave us great pleasure to receive a cheque in the amount of $5000 for the Dougherty Creek campsite project; the installation of an outhouse for people with disabilities. This project was initiated from a discussion with First Nation at an All Nations Circle meeting, there is a need for First Nations Elders with disabilities to have a site where they could visit and get into nature. The idea grew when we met with Pat Harris from the BC spinal Cord Injury group, they identified a similar need to have such a facility for our community. We approached Enbridge with this idea and they embraced the project. The cheque of $5000 was an expression of their commitment to our community. We thank Enbridge for their kind generosity.
