1 year ago today we were celebrating our 60th anniversary with our Diamond Gala! We're sad we couldn't do it again this year due to the pandemic, but we're loving reminiscing on these fun memories from last year where we raised $130,000 for the new building. After Giving Tuesday comes #ThankYouThursday and WOW do we have a lot to thank you for! Our hope from the very beginning of the #stockings4seniors launch was to not only give these seniors a beautiful and FULL stocking, but a stack of Christmas cards to go along with it to give them lots to look at and put up in their rooms for some added joy. No words are adequate to describe just how much this means and how much JOY all of this will bring to every resident across Tabor Village. THANK YOU! They drove out in individual cars to bring us donuts and bottles of water. They lined our property with signs of support and encouragement. They cheered for our staff as they came and went from shift. They took time to chat with us and let us know that we’re not alone and they get it. They went above and beyond. They are fellow healthcare heroes who have been through this crisis themselves and come out the other side COVID-FREE and stronger because of it.
