Ray Nikiel (left) and Jean Picard, (Chong Lee black belts) played crucial roles in the Canadian team that dominated team and individual comp...etition in Canada and North America in the early 70's and 80's. While Ray often squared off against Mike Warren or Joseph Hayes in Canada v USA matches, the powerful Jean Picard usually faced the ever formidable Taekwondo Hall of Famer Albert Cheeks. Very sadly Ray left us a few years ago. See more
