Turkey Stuffing Pie . With Thanksgiving right around the corner, we know everyone is going to be rushing about making sure everything is absolutely perfect and ready for Dinner . But what about something for your furry family members ? Sure they may not share the table with the rest of your cousins, aunts, uncles and others from out of town, but why not make sure they feel equally as appreciated as any other guest ! ... . And what better way that with a Pet Friendly Pumpkin Pie . Ingredients: - @primalpetfoods Frozen Nuggets (any flavour) - Raw Goat Milk ( ie. @primalpetfoods Raw Goat Milk) - Pure Pumpkin Puree ( Pet grade options include @primalpetfoods Winter Squash Elixir or 100% pure pumpkin puree - not the pie filling as that can make your pets sick !! ) - Raw Honey **Optional** - Dash of Cinnamon - Dash of Turmeric - @primalpetfoods Freeze Dried Nuggets or Grass fed Gelatine . Instructions: 1. Taking the thawed Primal Nuggets, mash them in a pet safe pie container; flattening the bottom and all the way up to cover the edges. This will form the crust of your pie. 2. Let the pan and crust set in the fridge for 2 hours. 3. In a blender, mix Puree/Elixir, Goat Milk and Raw honey till it creates a smooth mixture. 4. For some additional benefits, add a dash of turmeric and cinnamon to the mixture - If it ends up being too runny, add some of Primal Freeze Dried Nuggets or a Grass Fed Gelatine as a thickening agent. 5. As some of you may know, Tail Blazers West has come under new ownership (as of March 2020), but with all the many twists and turns that have happened this year we weren’t able to do any kind of proper celebration. But better late than never ! . So please allow us to introduce our (not so new) Store Owner and favourite Friendly Face: Briana Marcil ... . Hi everyone! My name is Briana, it is nice to officially meet everyone! Some of you may know me previously as the manager here at Tail Blazers West, however, today’s post is to officially introduce me as the new store owner. New isn’t quite the correct term; I purchased the store from the previous owner, Melanie, in May of this year. Unfortunately, the on-going COVID 19 pandemic spoiled any plans of a going away party or a big event to announce the change in ownership. Prior to working for Mel, I was a customer of the store for many years. I, like many of our customers, was interested in feeding my two cats a raw food diet. I found the store online, I met with some helpful staff members and I quickly transitioned my pets on to the best diet for their health. I happily remained a customer for some years before applying for a part time position. One thing led to another and here we are, three years later, with a whole new position in life. I am so fortunate to have come across this store and Mel when I did. Every day I come to work filled with gratitude for my career and the lovely opportunity I was given. I learnt everything I know about this industry, canine and feline health, as well as some of my best customer service skills from Mel. I promise to do my best to keep learning, continue to grow the store and always be a top resource for customers when they have questions about their own animals’ health. Purchasing a small business during a pandemic was like starting a video game on survival mode; I have learnt a lot about myself and my ability to handle stress. Our customers have stood by us through all the chaos and for that, we are thankful. I know its been a challenge for everyone and we will continue to always do our best for our customers and their animals.
