I work to help people doing good things, do them better. This is a good thing, and if you know a woman refugee looking for work, this would be a great resource for them. The next session has space and starts August 10th. Details below. The YWCA's Aspire Program is a free employment program that helps newcomer refugee women find meaningful work in the Lower Mainland. We have only a few spots left for our upcoming training, which starts on Monday, August 10.! Contact us to boo...k an online info session. Email Morgan at [email protected] or call at 778-554-2457. https://ywcavan.org/aspire

I just finished redesigning the Tailored Tech website. I'm particularly proud of the services page: fast, friendly and informative. Have a look! https://goodthingsbetter.com/services-2/

The Recovery Cup board game was created and designed by Art Therapist Sophia Kelly of Tailored Tech. This educational cooperative board game was designed in 2010 and then revised for a first nations audience in 2017 by Tailored Tech. Game cards containing educational information on mental illness self-care and self care for caregivers were part of the game, which taught the stress-vulnerability model of psychosis in a fun and cooperative way to the entire family.

Working from home to help slow covid 19? One of the frustrations of working from home is not having access to your work software and network resources. I can help. https://goodthingsbetter.com//how-to-work-from-home-if-yo/
If you're looking for good quality Canadian web hosting, with support that responds right away from a North American time zone, I recommend the hosting company I use for my own sites, Fused Network. I've been working with them for several years, and it's such a relief to have competence and the same staff every time I contact them. They are not the least expensive hosting out there, but the prices are reasonable for value. Here's a link https://clients.fused.com/aff.php?aff=245 . Disclosure: this is a referral link, but everything I've said above is true, and I have recommended this company for years.
One of the perks of my job is that I get to use my powers for good, to work with a lot of great organizations. One of my clients is the Sydney Risk Foundation, which honours a Canadian theatre pioneer and provides scholarships to young emerging Canadian actors, playwrights and directors. Check them out at https://sydneyriskfoundation.org/
Things I do for my clients (that aren't obvious) Investigate options they are considering with an educated, experienced eye, giving them a neutral evaluation of vendors, technologies or solutions. Discover what they know about their best clients and what makes them happy, and apply that go the given situation for them, making educated targeted recommendations. Save money and time for their business and staff by finding efficiencies and easier ways of doing things. Fi...nd out from their staff the honest truth about what practices are actually working, actually used and actually found valuable. Similarly finding out who the key staff are to make sure a project is successful and what they need to support them. Help them prioritize their wants and needs based on their most important goals. Enable them to let go of ongoing worry about important projects or sales tools by taking it off their hands, performing it competently and demonstrating success. Enable non-profits to focus on serving their constituencies, by looking after planning and collecting evaluation data and writing to-the-point reports to demonstrate value to funders. See more
