While this is super excellent news, I am now in the process of contacting everyone who had an appointment prior to closing first, and then I will be following with calls to clients on my waitlist. Please be patient as I now have to contact everyone that I have previously called to reschedule them for earlier. This list will take days to get through, but be assured ...you are not forgotten if you have sent me a message during the time we have been closed. I can't wait to get back at it again and see all of my furry friends! ****Please note that we are doing a NAILS ONLY day this Monday the 25th from 10-5. You do not need an appointment and will be taken in on a first come first served basis. Also will be doing nails only on Saturdays from 2-6 during the duration of levels 4 and 3.**** Please call the salon upon arrival to make sure entry in the building is safe. Please come out to Brewkies on Saturday from 10-4 to get your dogs nails cut and to support the Iqualuit Humane Society. 50% of all proceeds will be donated directly to IHS. Their shelter is very small and very simple, but the hard work and dedication that the staff and volunteers makes this place shine! They do amazing work for the communities of Nunavut. Please come out on Saturday and trim those talons! Or just drop by to donate a few nickels if you can. It would be nice to see them in a newer and bigger facility so they could expand and help more animals of the far north!

Good day everyone! As you may have heard, grooming is considered to be in level 3. This means that I wont be back operational until June 8th unless things change. As of yesterday we have been mandated by the government to shut down to due Covid-19. Grooming salons are not considered essential services unfortunately. This also includes our in home / mobile services. If you have upcoming appointments I will be in touch. At this point we dont know if this shutdown will last a couple weeks or months. If in the meantime you have questions or concerns about maintaining your pet during this time, I will be happy to give you guidance or tips until we can get the fur kids back in the salon. Until then, I hope that everyone stays safe and healthy. I want to thank each and every one of you for your continued support throughout this time.

Exciting news. Im one of three people chosen to travel to Iqaluit next week to teach the basics of grooming for the Iqaluit SPCA. Ive always wanted to go and am over the moon excited for this once in a lifetime experience. A couple days ago they had -55C temps with the windchill. Should be interesting. Lol Wish me luck!
