WHAT A WEEKEND!!!! Tails first #porchportraits were a success!! First off .. THANK YOU to these 3 amazing woman who made this weekend possible! I (Arielle) come up with some pretty crazy ideas and this (entire!) team never ceases to amaze me! Robin flew from across the country to be here and I am SO so thankful and grateful. We froze, we drank copious amounts of steaming hot chocolate, we blew a few fuses trying to keep warm with heaters but we LOVED every second of it! ...Thank you to the team members who came for photos with their pups, came for photos with their favourite furiends and for cheering us on when they couldn’t be there. And for taking over the weekend walks! It ALL helps make this team who we are! We saw old friends, current friends, made some new friends & barely have any voices left from all of the oooOooo’s and TREATS! and whose the goodest babiessssss LETS DO IT AGAIN SOON! -> Thank you to @dmartin0407 and Robin/Arielle’s moms for donating the decorations for the porch! -> Thank you @4kprints for the amazing personalized wrapping paper for the gifts -> A HUGE thank you to @figswithfriends for donating sample size snacks for the event -> and THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone who donated to the family that @4kprints is sponsoring this holiday season & to everyone to contributed their bottles/empties for the @littlemiss.zoe bottle drive. Remember Me Thursday The last Thursday in September is a international social media awareness day to bring attention to those pets in shelters. #remembermethursday began 6 years ago & has more than 1 billion impressions on social media. Wed love to hear how a shelter pet has impacted / changed your life! This is Sadie & she is just one of our #shelterdog rescues that we have in our pack. We saw her sweet face on our local shelter page, knew her dad was looking to adopt a new friend for their household, tagged him in the post and 4 weeks later she was joining us on our walks! As we said yesterday, this has been a hard week for us here at Tails to the Trails. Along with Chevy, we also lost our beloved Baloo this week. Baloo & Gord were the bestest of buds and had a special little bond. Baloos background.... Baloo came to us as a client as just 8 weeks old! As he began to grow into his big boy features; his parents slowly realized his back end wasnt quite right. After two years of intense physical therapy, rehabs & surgeries. There was just n...othing more that could be done to help his back legs. His parents did any and everything that they could for him his entire two years of life and he was SO unbelievably lucky to have them. We absolutely loved watching Baloo grow, and even though he had mobility issues. Trying to chase his friends around the backyard was one of his favourite things. Especially his big girl GF Mya RIP Baloo. Well never forget you & your silly antics big guy. Say hi to all our friends over the bridge #rainbowbridge See more

This has been a sad week for us here on the trails... we received news that this handsome fellah Chevy has crossed the rainbow bridge. Chevy had epilepsy and required pills on each visit. Shelby & Chevy became fast friends and he was always such a good boy taking his meds for her. Were sure going to miss you big guy. Rip Chev

Last week, Mollys mom purchased two tickets for Gord (and Sherry) to take miss Molly to @pinglesfarm for the doggy event in the sunflowers. THREE YEARS!!!!!!! Its SO hard to believe that this August marks Tails third anniversary. This year has been the craziest & most challenging by far & were just getting started!!!! The beginning of 2020 started as our biggest year yet with 34 new clients in January-March alone and hiring 5 new walkers in the same amount of time. It was WILD! And then.... Covid. As fortunate as we were & have been to stay working during this crazy time; were definitely in the re building stages and honestly.... WERE EXCITED! Follow along & join us as we grow THANK YOU to ALL of our clients, friends, family & followers for making this dream come true for us. We couldnt do it without any of you & we wouldnt want to!
