Exciting news!!! I am excited to announce there is a small, very clean, brightly lit and airy arena south of Tottenham where I will be offering agility lessons this winter! I will be offering both beginner agility and advanced agility handling skills. This will be small sequences to refine skills such as entries, committment, and distance. Please message me on interest and nights you would be interested in!... Note: It is unheated, so coats for you and your dog are recommended. But the footing is fantastic woodchip (so new that it still smells like pine!)

I’ve been quiet the last week or two as I worked on the website. I am very excited (and relieved!) to announce that you will are now able to register for classes directly on our website!!! Classes starting November have been posted, with January classes to follow at both MapleLane and Raw4Dogs. Privates can still be booked directly by email. I am still fussing with pictures and the calendar. If you have any feedback on the new system, please email or message me to let me kno...w. Covid has hit many very hard - and with winter approaching, I’ve gotten interest in running some online programs that can be done with very minimal space, on a budget. If you are interested in this group, or similar group for scent or working rally please message me! The Fall Tune Up will be a month long group with a discounted price of $30. It will be a private facebook group that will only require one or two cones and some sort of perch (bucket, book, stool). This will cont...ain both written and video instruction, and you will be able to post videos for feedback on each exercise. All the exercises are complimentary to both the rally and agility programs. It will contain at least five exercises that will improve: - Startline and other stays - Drive (how excited they are to work) - Committment (staying locked on when you move) - Distance Work (leaving you to execute a task) - Discrimination (picking the correct option) This program will lead directly into the Winter Wind Up group, which will focus on things like backsides, turns, tight turns, rear crosses, and verbals at a distance. I will also be offering privates/semi privates at Maple Lane and Raw4Dogs for in person feedback (based on facility availability).

I am thrilled I got the opportunity to contribute to this article. Dock diving and swimming is such a great sport, and being in condition is just as important as in any sport. 1) Why do our Rally program? This fun and flexible program builds both skills and relationship through intuitive learning and games. The methods taught are also complimentary to both our working rally and agility programs. 2) I think it is important for you all to know that this is what i hear when I watch your dogs do Rally...and one reason I smile!

I know no one wants to hear this....but we are starting to plan for fall and winter classes! We have sessions and privates available starting in September at Raw4Dogs, west of Barrie. Exact dates and classes will follow shortly. We are also planning to host privates and small classes indoors at MapleLane in Alliston. Supportive reactive dogs and their handlers is near and dear to me. If anyone is interested in a VIP (Very Important Puppies) agility class for reactive dogs (where only one dog runs at a time), please message me so I can work this into the program schedule!!
