Please join us for our 4rth Virtual Auction taking place from Jan 23 to Jan 27 th This charity is at the heart of Mary Kay and us, the Ransom Risers and Adorables. We will be featuring lovely items donated by local entrepreneurs, businesses and individuals. We have over 100 items in our action and bidding will start on Jan 23 after 10AM. All proceeds will be transferred to the Mary Kay Ash Charitable foundation where 96% of all proceeds go to two amazing programs. The fir...st program is the Shelter Grant Program, where up to $10,000 is donated to 1 shelter in every province, providing women and children fleeing domestic violence with a safe haven until they can live safely and independently. Did you know that you can nominate a shelter for this grant? The second program being supported is the Look Good Feel Better Program, this program is run in hospitals across Canada by dedicated volunteers. The program supports women going through Cancer treatments with the opportunity to connect with others going through the same experience by providing a workshop where they learn skincare techniques to counter issues caused by cancer treatments. This program is being done virtually right now because of Covid19 and is reaching even more women, especially in remote communities. Did you know Mary Kay Consultants make up most of the volunteers who help run this program? These two charities are hurting for funding right now and it is our wish to help out as much as we can through this auction. We can't do this alone and need the support of you, our wonderful community of clients, friends, Mary Kay sisters and family to make this a monumental success.
