Come on down to Qualicum Beach Family Day on Sunday, May 27 to meet Elizabeth! Learn more about Tall Trees Nature Programs while your children investigate the natural world at the Tall Trees / Thimbleberry tent.

Tall Trees would like to warmly welcome Elizabeth O`Neill as its new owner! Elizabeth is an Early Childhood Educator with over 25 years of experience caring for children under 6. She also owns and operates a highly regarded nature-inspired licenced in-home child care centre. Elizabeth is excited to pick up where Tall Trees founder Lisa Walls left off, welcoming children to the forest again in Qualicum Beach, beginning in September 2018. Tall Trees is also super excited, because Erin O'Hagan will return as the lead educator! Welcome back, Erin!

Exciting news: Tall Trees will be running a preschool-age forest program in Qualicum Beach beginning in September 2018! Stay tuned for more details or email ([email protected]) for more information. Yippee! The forest awaits.

It is with a heavy heart that I announce that Tall Trees Nature Programs will not be running any summer or fall 2017 programs. My family has recently relocated to Campbell River and it isn't feasible for Tall Trees to continue in Qualicum Beach. The current preschool-age program will carry on until the end of June. Thank you for your support and please keep exploring the great outdoors with your children!

Looking for something to do on Wednesday mornings with your young children this spring? Oceanside BLT's Munchkinland programs are heading outside! This program is super fun, free and completely outdoors.

Lisa spent this morning with the educators from Oceanside BLT, helping them prepare for Munchkinland Goes Outside in the spring! If you and your little people love to spend time outdoors, keep an eye on their programming and join them (it's a free parent-participation program)!

Winter in the forest again in January and February! Snow, ice, and a whole lot of fun. It's all melted now and the snowdrops are blossoming.
