Tal's Firewood just got a logging load of Tamarack in today. Most of it is not quite seasoned so this wood will be processed now to be ready to sell for next year. We hope to bring in at least one more load of tamarack for next year. And we have two loads of Birch ordered and should be delivered soon. Fair warning. Our cost has gone up for both Tamarack and Birch. Its crazy that just because the demand has gone up the cost has to go up too. Tis' is life, I guess.

October 11, 2020 We have Birch, Spruce and Tamarack. All wood is bucked in 16 inch lengths. Tal can do special orders for different lengths. Just ask. Birch is $250.00 for a half a cord. Spruce is $160.00 for half a cord and and Tamarack is $210.00 for half a card. We also sell 1/4 cords. Just divide the price in half. And if you want a whole cord, just times it by two. And if you ju...st want to get a little bit of wood, please just ask. Please call the house at 780-398-2533 or call or text the cell at 780-974-7327. The best time to talk to Tal is around 8:00am on the house phone before he heads out. NOTES We measure by what we call the true, full or standard cord. It has a volume of 128 cubic feet, stacked 8 feet long, 4 feet high and 4 feet wide. Most orders are for a half cord. You can get this in a 6 foot box if you stack it in and pile it high in the center. We encourage everyone to strap the wood in to avoid any falling out. E transfers preferred. Please message us for our etransfer information. We don't deliver however we have a neighbor who will deliver on his days off. You would need to call him directly for his prices and to see when he is available. Please message us for his name and number. Deliver costs are fair but still it costs money. The wood has to be picked up and we load by hand. Then he has to drive to deliver it. Then he has to unload it and then drive back. This all takes time, physical work and mileage. Delivery fees range between $50 to $100 depending on where you are located and what you order. Mike can deliver a cord at a time as he has a trailer with sides. And a reminder that we are not open on Saturdays.

Now is the time to get your firewood. It is so much better to stockpile your wood for winter now while the weather is still nice.

June 10, 2020 We presently have Spruce and Tamarack. We usually sell by the half cord, but quarter cords are also available. And if you want a smaller amount just ask. Bucked, Split and Seasoned. Spruce is $150.00 for 1/2 cord and $75.00 for a 1/4 cord.... Tamarack is $200.00 for 1/2 cord and $100.00 for 1/4 cord. We are also working on the Birch for next Fall. It is bucked and split but not quite seasoned yet. We don't deliver but we have a neighbor who will. We just give you his name and number and you make arrangements directly with him.
