Listen to your gut. My husband and I bought our first home without even seeing the inside of the garage. And that was one of the big selling features! We had seen so many houses but nothing felt right on our tight budget.... Until we walked into this one. On paper I was quick to dismiss the house. I didn’t like 1.5 storeys and didn’t want a corner lot. But our Realtor at the time encouraged us to see it. She had previewed it and said it would work for us. As soon as we walked in it felt like home. It wasn't perfect, but I knew it was meant for us. I didn’t even care to see the inside of the 2 car garage. The fact that it had one in Etobicoke was huge. That was almost 10 years ago. And two kids later, I still love our home (although my husband says I don't ) It has its issues, but I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else.
