I’MMMM BAAACCCKKK!!!!! I want to express a HUGE thank you for all your support and patience! Please continue to bear with me as I work through the backlog of appointments that’s occurred from being closed for the past 12 weeks. Appointments will look a little different then what you’ve been used to. Lengths of appointments will be longer and extra time will be scheduled between patients to minimize overlap and allow time for extra cleanup.... We are taking every precaution to ensure your safety as well as ours. You will notice the following changes during upcoming appointments: 1. First you will be asked a series of covid-19 related questions upon confirmation of appointment as well as upon arrival. 2. You will be asked to remain in your vehicle until we are ready for your appointment. 3. Your temperature will be taken when entering the clinic. 4. A hand sanitizing station is set up in the front entry that also contains masks for you to wear while filling out paperwork. 4. You will notice the reception area is cleared of magazines and toys. 5. I will be wearing the required PPE during our cleaning appointments and aerosol generating procedures will be limited. No cavitron (water scaler) will be used.... only handscaling is permitted at this time along with selective polishing. Premier Jason Kenney announced today Alberta’s relaunch plan........ WE WILL BE OPEN AGAIN SOON!! Dental practices have been given the go-ahead to open as of May 4th. We are still waiting to hear from the College of Registered Dental Hygienists (CRDHA) to release the official guidelines to reopen, but progress is being made. I will keep you posted in the coming days with an update of our official reopening date. Thank you so much for your patience, I have missed you all so much!
