For 2 days I have debated writing this. I don’t normally do this, but I feel compelled to. Be forewarned, it’s a bit of a read... On Monday, I had a client come... in for a haircut. I knew she had been unwell, but assumed everything was okay as she showed up for her appointment. We keep the door locked, take temperatures, screen people, and are constantly sanitizing and disinfecting every surface. I didn’t think it necessary to ask if she was waiting for test results for COVID-19. She called Wednesday morning to inform me that she had tested positive. She had gone for a test on Friday, and willingly came to her appointment on Monday, while she was symptomatic. Now, I sit at home until December 15. Luckily I have tested negative, but have to remain in isolation in case I develop symptoms. I am a mother who now can’t care for her child. A business owner and stylist that cannot go to work. My mother, who is caring for my daughter, can no longer have contact with my grandfather. Please, be kind. We can do this, we can keep each other safe. We just need to make it a priority.

To all my valued clients, 2020 has been surreal. Covid19 has changed the way we do things and all my clients and myself have been careful to wear masks and sanitize. Thank you!! However, due to working from my home, and the tighter restrictions, I have decided to temporarily close my business.
