ICYMI: This week provincial, federal and municipal officials announced funding for a series of infrastructure projects across the province, including a new covered bridge in the Village of St. Martins to replace the Vaughan Creek bridge. As MLA for Sussex-Fundy-St. Martins and Minister of Tourism, Heritage and Culture, I was grateful to take part in this announcement. This replacement bridge will provide a safer and more reliable bridge to serve as a gateway to the Fundy Trail Parkway.

COVID-19 Update for Thursday, February 11th There are two new cases in the province today: -One new case in Zone 1 (Moncton region) -One new case in Zone 4 (Edmundston region)... We have lost another New Brunswicker as a result of COVID-19 in the Edmundston region. I extend my sincere condolences to the family and friends of this individual. There are currently 161 active cases in New Brunswick. Six people are currently hospitalized (2 in ICU).

I was so thrilled as tourism minister and as MLA for Sussex-Fundy-St. Martins to be on a zoom announcement today committing to a new covered bridge for St. Martins. It feels just like Christmas.
