CHOREOGRAPHIC NARRATIONS | When venues had to close, we asked ourselves in what other ways dance could still reach the public; and we thought of the spoken word, each one drawing a thousand images in our mind. So our curator Laurane Van Branteghem set in motion Les narrations chorégraphiques, verbal explorations for which a gaze shaped by a speech-based profession gives an account of a choreography in their own way. Actress Sophie Cadieux is the first narrator of this series.... Her gaze wandered across Marilyn Daoust & Gabriel Léger-Savard’s show, and it is her words and the texture of her voice that will carry us towards the webcast of Le temps des fruits from February 13 to 21, 2021. On November 26, if everything goes well, we’ll have the pleasure of seeing you walk through the doors of Edifice Wilder - Espace danse to discover Ingrid Vallus’s new work. We will also be able to switch back to our green logo, the one associated with dance we can experience in person. But, until then, it will remain red and black in solidarity with all who are currently displaying these colours in the cultural and artistic sectors.
