To my Tanglefoot Community ...... Here is baby Zoey, born to my niece Kendra and her husband Brett on Thanksgiving weekend. You can read about what has happened on the Go Fund Me page, but Zoey is now recovering from surgery and we are all sending our love and blessings to this amazing young family. It's also a comfort that my sister Christine (Kendra's mum) can be there with them at the Ronald McDonald House in Vancouver. Please share if you can and donate if you are able. EQUIPMENT FOR ONLINE CLASSES Time to get your gear ready for online Fitness, Pilates and Yoga with Tanglefoot! For Pilates and Yoga, all you really need is a mat and a blanket (and well let you know if were working with other small props). For fitness classes, you can get by with just some resistance bands, but other items could include dumbbells, a step, bosu, fitball, skipping rope, medicine ball, sandbag and suspension straps. You can even make your own weights with water or sand filled milk jugs, or laundry containers. Ready to try a class? Weve got 10 per week to choose from! CREATING SPACE FOR ONLINE TRAINING A lot of people have told me they cant do online classes because they dont have enough room at home. The truth is, you really dont need much space at all to be able to do this. For Yoga and Pilates, all you need is a spot for your mat. For Fitness Classes, youd be surprised how much you can do within a 6 x 8 foot space. Move your coffee table out of the way and youre set! And hey, while the weathers good, take your device outside and enjoy a session on your deck, in your back yard, or even at the park! You can do this!

TANGLEFOOT CLOSES FACILITY AND SWITCHES TO ONLINE SERVICES Dear Community, My apologies for the lack of communication over the past while, but its been a challenging and overwhelming time! I would like to let you know I have made the very difficult decision not to re-open the Tanglefoot Training Centre. I will be continuing with online classes, training and instruction, but the facility will be closed and I will be listing the property and selling or leasing the equipment. ... This has been a heart wrenching decision, and I am so sorry to be letting my loyal facility members down, but it appears this pandemic wont be over any time soon, and I cannot justify re-opening from a business perspective (having to limit access, reduce the number of people attending classes, etc) nor from a health and safety perspective (I feel the risks are too high within this type of environment). There has been a big paradigm shift in the health and fitness industry, and I have decided to move forward as an online provider of Fitness, Pilates, and Yoga. I believe this to be the safest and most effective way that Tanglefoot can continue to offer instruction and support to clients who are exercising at home. Weve just completed our first season of online services and the response has been extremely positive. We are rolling out a 10 week online Summer schedule starting June 8, with myself teaching the Fitness and Pilates classes, and Kirsten Guest and Zoe Ramdin covering the Yoga. Tanglefoot Training Centre has been a huge focus in my life and I will be eternally grateful to all the wonderful people whove been a part of this facility over the past 15 years. I do hope you will consider joining our online community as another way to stay healthy and connected, and I look forward to this next phase in my business journey. NEXT STEPS at TANGLEFOOT We are discontinuing ALL IN PERSON GROUP CLASSES and were reducing our Hours of Operation (see below). Kirsten is offering her Tues and Thur 9am YOGA classes online to registered participants and Mind Body members, and we do plan to consider additional online classes in the near future.
