It's a tough day here at the ranch. We had to say goodbye to a wonderful part of our family today. If you have ever been out to the farm you would have met this wonderful soul. Mojito was a vigilant protector of our sheep but a gentle giant..He loved people, kids, hugs, and his animals - especially his best friend Nina the cow. He was happiest spending his day laying with the sheep or welcoming all the new baby lambs. He was always happy to greet us in the field and wouldn...'t let us leave until he got his fill of pets and hugs. Picking bales in the field on the hottest day ever and stacking in hot barn....hmmm. New workout trend? Kinda like hot yoga??

Love moving cows to new pastures. Slow, steady, and stress free!! Rotating pastures allows the grass to regrow and develop strong root systems to be able to withstand periods of low moisture/drought. Giving the paddocks rest time (at least 45 days) is essential to forage and soil health.
