And most of all, we know you'll love supporting the very needy Community Centre 55's Share a Christmas program. Stay tuned for more details, Registration for our 2020 Virtual Tannenbaum 10k (& beyond!) opens next week! (Oct 28) and you'll be able to run ANYTIME in December....so if it's a colllllllllld or icy day when you planned to run, you can just wait until it gets better! Start spreading the word!

Yes Virginia, there will be a Tannenbaum 10k this year. Virtual of course. With some twists. And cool shirts. And a nice medal design. Details to follow! We need to team up as a community, a city and beyond to raise much needed funds for the Tannenbaum charity, Communiry Centre 55’s Share a Christmas program. #isurvivedtannenbaum2019 by Cami Laporte My shoes were in the wrong season, so... the shield had to come to the rescue, and even that wasn’t enough on the ultra slippery paths of the @brc_running_events #tannenbaum10k . I rarely post about my runs & races, but this one I have to: snow , ice pellets , black ice , freezing rain all in the same 10k course - so glad I wore my sunglasses, because the weather sure gave me a natural facial peeling I feel a little more ...Canadian after this experience (for someone born and raised in Brazil this was a wild surprise). I like to think it was like running in the North Pole. I signed up for the race with a plan A of finishing it in x time. Had to put plan B into action (being able to stand on my two feet the entire way and crossing the finish line) as soon as I realised the forecast got it right this time. Glad I didn’t have to resort to plan C (not showing up). Last race of the year See more
