So very proud ** Thursday Dec 3rd update ** Jacks Pizza in Sackville has Graciously just donated $500 to us to go towards Amara!!! Thank you so much!! ... As of this morning with donations from Tantramar Electric, Jacks Pizza and ticket sales we have raised just over $3500 for sweet Amara! How amazing is that?!? I’m just totally blown away by people’s generosity!! Also this morning Tyler Pauley awesomely donated a certificate for 20lbs of free lobster for next years 2021 fishing season. So with that and all the other awesome basket donations people who have messaged me and have offered items, we’ve decided to draw for TWO baskets!!! Both prices are so awesome, and two lucky people will win them just in time for Christmas!! So keep those shares going and let’s see if we can raise even MORE for Amara!! $10 a ticket and %100 of all funds raised goes to Amara! AMARAS WISH TO WALK! Specifically Spastic Diplegia, meaning both legs are affected. Amara mostly uses a posterior walker to get around. She is not able to function as most kids do at her age due to the spasticity in her legs. Through lots and lots of research her parents have found a solution that can change Amara's entire life. Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy Surgery. Unfortunately the cost of the surgery is very high. What awesome news!! Tantramar Electric will be cutting a cheque for $1000.00 for sweet Amara. Please let’s not stop there .... let’s keep rallying for this 3 year old to help with the cost of her surgery.
