Playschools AGM for all 2020-21 member families will take place on Tuesday September 1st from 6:30pm-8pm. Participation by a representative of each family is important, as this is the perfect opportunity to learn the details of this co-operative program and our plans for this school year. Friends who purchased the NB Stay-cation tickets ~ if you are wondering how to use your coupons here's a tip: The Ice Cream Coop, Tantramar Gas Bar/Ultramar, and Jack's Pizza Sackville all have been given lists of the ticket numbers and names associated with the tickets, so when you want to claim your promotional offer, you can show them the .pdf of your ticket from your mobile device screen, or show them a print-out of your coupon, or just tell them your name and ticket num...ber -- and you'll be good to go! NB Public Health announces that daycares will be closed as of March 17th. Playschool's Annual General Meeting for all members is tomorrow evening at the high school. Our staff and volunteers have a lot to be grateful for as we start into a fresh academic year!

Saturday's GREAT BIG YEAR END EVENT at Playschool attracted many generous supporters to the yard sale, bake sale, bbq, fun run and many also bought tickets for the monthly 50/50 and for the PEI Getaway raffle! THANK YOU to everyone who helped make Saturday successful! And if you see Lindsey Tower (talented face painter who volunteered her time!) or anyone from Dixon's Farm Fresh Beef (who donated a portion of the tasty burger patties) or the friendly folks at Rose's Your Independent Grocer (who assembled our other bbq supplies) -- please let them know that we all appreciate their support for Playschool! Today's 4-year-old helper Addilyn has chosen the winning ticket for the May 50/50 draw, and the winner is #85, Karen Piercey! Those in the classroom were pretty excited about that, because Karen is our very dedicated Playschool Board President! Congratulations to Karen!

the Summer Survivor fundraiser was incredibly successful for Playschool ~ nearly $1,900 in prizes and it raised over $3,600 for Playschool!
