With November approaching fast we encourage anyone wanting sausage made for Christmas to please drop off your trim so we can get you on the board! We are very busy and don’t want any disappointed customers:)

FYI- HUNTERS .. please please DO NOT cut off the back TENDONS , on your animals. This is how we hang it in our cooler. Tying rope doesn’t work as it falls on the floor and then we are wrestling it around . It can’t sit in tubs either . So please don’t cut them off or we can’t take your animals. Thanks

FYI- We are booked solid for domestic animals ( Beef , pork) . New bookings for 2019 will start January 7th through until Sept 1. After sept 1 we will be leaving room for our game customers as this year has proven to be an issue with dealing with these animals, leaving people no where to take them . We hope this will rectify part of the problem . Please remember to book your domestic animals in as soon as possible , as we book up fast . Thank you

Are you looking for somewhere to have your animals slaughtered? If you haven’t pre-booked your animals in somewhere , it can be almost impossible to get them done .... Check out Rangeland meats! Fully inspected slaughter house. Located 24km from Kamloops! 250-571-4551

Things that make us go hmmmmmm. - Oh it’s ready for pick up? , I’m away for 2 weeks - Oh it’s ready for pick up? I’m super duper busy with my kids all week , maybe next week - Oh it’s ready for pick up? Ok I’ll have to see if I can find a freezer ... FYI- As we head into the full swing of hunting season , along with the local farming fall slaughter , we will be, and are, very busy and oh so crammed! We try very hard, not to say no to people who need our services ...so if you can’t pick up your order , then please make arrangements with someone who can . Pick ups are expected to be made within 2-3 days after receiving a phone call or text that your meat/sausage is ready for pick up. A $10.00/day storage fee will be charged for everyday after that until the order is picked up . Please note that we do live here, so if you need to come after work , we will be happy to make that work for you. Thank you for your understanding

If you are dropping off meat to us for processing but not sure what you’d like for sausage.... Just ask for samples! Lots of samples available for you to try!

FYI- We are not doing the curing this year for pork. Our smokehouse is running around the clock just with sausage and we simply don’t have the time . You will get your leg and belly back to you with the rest of your cuts , and you may take it to whoever you like for curing ( Ham & Bacon) . Both Sedo’s & Windmill will be happy to do this for you

Hunting season is here! Here’s a few reminders - we don’t have normal retail hours , please call ahead to make sure there is room and that we are open. - please bring your animal in as such , if possible , Deer , whole Elk , quartered... Moose , quartered Bear , whole If your in doubt please just call and ask . Oh and very IMPORTANT please don’t cut off the tendons from the hind legs , this is how we hang it in the cooler.
